I'm very disappointed they decided to re invent a system that was so easy to use. So far, getting my old maps from SD2 doesn't really work, and creating new maps is a PITA compared to SD2. I've sent Toontrack a bunch of questions regarding mapping.

New York custom house two weeks more, the terms were practically two and four months. So far the midi mapping looks to be a bit of a nightmare compared to SD2. There were no facilities for our customers to buy in small lots. Very clunky and complicated in Logic, so looking forward to tracker. I haven't had a chance to try the tracker function, but if it works well, that will also make things much easier than how I would accomplish sound replace/layering of drums in Logic. IE: EZDrummer2, Steven Slate Drums, Superior Drummer 3. The 35 new effects sound great and seem easy to work with, so a huge improvement there. Each version of our MIDI Pack has a subtitle stating which drum VST it has been created and mapped for. The later option, of course, requires using a lot more gear. f you want to trigger samples, continue using the SPD-SX pad or hook one of the V-Drums modules (through MIDI) to a software sampler on a computer. Yes, as incredulous as that sounds, it's true. The SD 2 mixer was tiny and very difficult to look at, and the effects were not so great (they also had tiny cumbersome UI's). To date, no Roland V-Drums module allows importing samples, including the flagship TD-30.

The new mixer is awesome and will allow me to now mix my drums within SD as opposed to SD 2 where I had to route everything out to Logic.
